3. Event: An event is a single interaction between a customer and a business.
   
4. Profile: A profile is a unified view of a customer that is created by combining data from all of the different sources where the customer has interacted with the business.
   
5. Segment: A segment is a group of customers who share certain characteristics.
   

Event Life Cycle

For each event, there is an event lifecycle that occurs. Here is a simplified overview of the event life cycle in ReBid CDP:

1. The event is generated by a customer interaction with the business.
   
2. The event is sent to ReBid CDP.
   
3. ReBid CDP identifies the customer associated with the event.
   
4. ReBid CDP merges the event data into the customer's profile.
