What is ReBid CDP?

ReBid CDP is a tool that helps you understand your customers better and create personalized experiences. With ReBid CDP, you can bring together information about your customers from different places. This makes your marketing decisions smarter and helps you keep customers interested in your products.

What are Events and how can I manage them?

Events are like tools that help you keep track of what people do on your website. You can easily create, search, and manage these Events to understand how customers interact with your site. To make a new Event, go to the ReBid CDP Homepage, click Setup, and choose Events.

What is the purpose of the 'Transitional Toggle' in Event Configuration?**

The Transitional Toggle offers you the flexibility to make a decision about whether you want to save the data related to an event or not. When this toggle is switched on, the data associated with the event is securely stored in the database. On the other hand, when the Transitional Toggle is switched off, the event data is processed and utilized for immediate actions and calculations without being permanently stored in the database.

How can I track Events on my website?

To track Events on your website, you need to add a special code on every page. You'll need to copy the custom HTML for Header and Body tags generated by the ReBid CDP platform and paste them on all your website pages. These codes help monitor user actions and give you insights into their behavior.

Where can I find the Webhook URL for event notifications?

When you navigate to the Event source details page, you will come across a dedicated section labeled "Webhook URL." The Webhook URL serves as a designated link that acts as a receiver, waiting to be triggered by specific events or actions. Once an event of interest occurs, the system sends a notification to the Webhook URL, providing relevant information about the event. This real-time exchange of data ensures that you remain promptly informed about noteworthy activities or occurrences within your platform.

Do I need a separate Connector for each data source on my website?

Yes, it's a good idea to have a Connector for each different place where data comes from, like websites or apps. This helps you gather accurate information about how customers interact with your site. You don't need a new Connector for each bit of data, but having one for different sources is a smart choice. It helps you organize and understand customer behavior better.

How do I make sure data is secure when using Connectors and writing keys in ReBid CDP?

ReBid CDP takes security seriously. When you set up a Connector, you get a "write key." This key is like a secret code that helps you send data to ReBid. It's important to keep this key safe and not share it with others.

Can I customize the information I collect from different sources using Connectors?

Yes, Connectors lets you gather specific data from different places, like websites and apps. Each Connector is like a link that brings certain information to ReBid. This means you can customize what data you collect based on what you want to learn about customer behavior.

If I disable a Connector, will I lose data or settings?

When you disable a Connector, it stops working for a while. But don't worry, you won't lose any data or settings. You can turn it back on when you need it. This can be helpful if you want to pause data collection for a bit without losing anything.

What types of triggers can I use to initiate marketing automation workflows?

You can use various triggers to start marketing automation workflows, such as form submissions, email opens, website visits, or specific dates. Triggers indicate when a contact interacts with your platform, prompting the workflow to begin. By setting up triggers that match your objectives, you can initiate workflows that respond to user actions, ensuring timely and relevant communication.

How do I set up conditions within a workflow to guide contacts along different paths?

Conditions in a workflow are rules that determine the path a contact takes. Based on criteria like demographics or behavior, contacts follow different routes. For example, you can direct users who have made a purchase down one path and users who abandoned a cart down another. Conditions help personalize interactions and ensure that users receive content tailored to their actions and characteristics.

What are branching points within a workflow and how they affect the user journey?

Branching points occur when users take different paths in a workflow based on conditions. For instance, a user who has made a purchase might receive emails with product recommendations, while a user who hasn't might receive emails encouraging them to explore more. These branching points customize the user journey, delivering content that matches user behavior and preferences.

How can I monitor and analyze the performance of my activated workflows?

ReBid CDP provides tools to monitor and analyze the performance of your workflows. You can track user engagement, open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. This data helps you understand which workflows are effective and where improvements can be made to enhance user engagement and drive conversions.
