Managing Access and Permissions

The permissions section contains different roles that can be assigned to the user. Each user has different permissions. There are various Resources and each resource has various permissions granted to it. The list of Resources is as follows:



Term

Ad Group

A group of advertisements targeting specific criteria within a campaign.

Advertiser

The entity that promotes a product or service through advertising.

Agency

A company or organization that provides advertising and marketing services to clients.

Agency Setting

Configuration options and preferences specific to an advertising agency's workflow and operations.

Audience

The target group of individuals who are intended to see and engage with an advertising or marketing message.

Budget Margin

The difference between the allocated advertising budget and the actual expenditure, used for assessing profitability.

Campaign Group

A collection of related campaigns with a shared objective or theme.

Campaign item

A specific element or component within a campaign, such as an ad, landing page, or promotional material.

Contact

An individual or entity with whom advertisers and agencies communicate for business purposes.

Creative

The visual, textual, or multimedia content designed to convey a message and attract attention in advertising and marketing.

Credit Limit

The maximum amount of credit extended to an advertiser by a media agency or platform for advertising expenses.

Custom Margin

A personalized markup or discount applied to the cost of advertising services provided by an agency.

Deal

A negotiated agreement between an advertiser and a publisher or media platform, often involving specific terms and conditions.

Event Log

A chronological record of actions, interactions, and occurrences related to advertising and marketing activities.

Exchange Rate

The value at which one currency can be exchanged for another, influencing international advertising costs and budgets.

Inventory

The available space or ad placements that a publisher or platform has for advertisers to display their ads.

Label

A descriptive tag or identifier used to categorize and organize advertising campaigns, assets, or data.

Media Plan

A strategic document outlining the intended advertising placements, channels, and budget for a campaign.

Network

An interconnected system of publishers, advertisers, and platforms facilitating the buying and selling of ad inventory.

Partner

A business entity or organization that collaborates with an advertiser or agency to achieve common marketing objectives.

Payment

The financial transaction made by an advertiser to a publisher or platform for advertising services rendered.

Paypal Payment

A payment made using the PayPal online payment system.

Pixel

A small, invisible image or code snippet placed on a website to track user activity and measure advertising effectiveness.

Platform Cost

The expense associated with using an advertising platform or technology for campaign execution.

Report

A structured document presenting data and insights about advertising and marketing performance.

Report Configurations

Customizable settings and parameters for generating specific types of reports in advertising systems.

Report Schedule

A predefined timeline or frequency for generating and delivering reports in advertising systems.

Report Token

A unique identifier used to access and retrieve specific reports or data within an advertising system.

Role

A defined position or responsibility within an advertising or marketing organization, specifying access and permissions.

Segment

A subset or group of individuals within a target audience sharing similar characteristics or behaviors.

Segment Map

A visual representation or framework illustrating the segmentation strategy and targeting approach in advertising.

Setting

Configurable options and preferences within an advertising or marketing system, influencing its behavior and functionality.

System Announcement

A formal communication or notification regarding updates, changes, or events in an advertising system.

User

An individual with authorized access to an advertising or marketing system.

User role

The specific permissions, responsibilities, and access levels assigned to a user within an advertising or marketing system.

Wallet

A digital account or repository where advertisers can store and manage funds for advertising expenses.


Each of these Resources has various permissions associated with it. Each role has access to a different set of Permissions. Let us go through the list of roles and their permissions:

After creating multiple users, you can use the following filters to find users:


  • Account: You can search for an Account using the dropdown.

  • User: You can select the User from the dropdown.

  • Permission: You can search using various user permissions such as Company Manager,

Read-only User, Media Trader, etc. 
  • Status: Status of the user - Active or Inactive.

The Manage tab consists of these options:

  • Toggle: Toggle is used to mark the Status of the user as Active or Inactive

  • Delete: To delete the user

  • Edit: To edit the user
